Just a note that if you have the option of choosing between a couple of yeast strains, often one might be more flocculent than another... Go with the one that has higher flocculation potential can get more of it out of suspension sooner / easier. Obviously, if you are making a Hefeweizen, you would ...

Had a Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale...

Now I'm havin' a Great Divide Rumble Oak-Aged IPA with my dinner...

2.2 gallon batch American Ale Weizenbier Steep some Carapils and C40 .5 ounce Saaz (T-20) .6 ounce Amarillo (T-5) Nice APA / IPA with wheat and citrus notes. :cool: in this, how much Carapils and C40 are you suggesting? Just saw this guys... I would use 2 ounces of CaraPils and maybe 2 ounces of C4...

My latest, Saison d'Été Man this is good, light, refreshing... Can't tell it's 8.5% ABV! Scary! You can taste the Belle Saison yeast, very nice, just a hint of tartness.... Some fruityness..
