We're having the family over for Easter dinner tomorrow. I got a big fat ring of Kielbasa, sauerkraut, Polish mustard and cheese and crackers for snacks. Wife got a sliced ham.
I got "Toms's Stout" on tap ... but the way I'm goin' today, I may have to tap the Brown tomorrow, heh heh.

Re: Another 3 day weekend
I'm Catholic, live in NY, and have never gotten Good Friday off. I'm glad it's not a Holy Day of Obligation, because I can't get to Church on that day. No meat.

Re: The end of an era
Today I'm bottling my last Mr. Beer recipe. Lincoln's Liberty Logger. It's an HME/LME recipe with a hop addition. The original recipe came with lager yeast, so it was one of the few true lagers in the MB house. But I didn't have room in the lager fridge for it, so I used ale yeast instead. I bought...

Mabye that Polaris might work in a stout or porter. Something kind of chocolately might go well with mint undertones. I just so happen to be sitting on about a case of Cholate Mint IPA now and can say its quite good. This is one of the Free Wort Project beers we did, the mint is very low key or mil...

I can't wrap my head around the words "wrong" and "beer" being in the same sentence.

Re: The No Post Post
I did something today that I hadn't done in five years. My accident was on July 13, 2009. After all the kings horses and all the kings men finally got ole Humpty Dumpty here put back together again, I decided today that I would grab the golf clubs and go to the driving range. My leg doesn't quite w...

I deserve many, many, homebrews. All the time. Because ... because ... I do, dammit!
