I haven't brewed in over two weeks. That's going to change today. I will make a brown ale, and get rid of those specialty malts. After that I'm going to gravitate to stouts and IPA's, with an occasional pale ale.

My OG's have been spot on but it's my FG's that I've been challenged with though I have been doing much better recently. My only pat on the back is that I don't give up. I'm getting pretty good consistency with OG's for given amounts of malt. I am now trying to get better hop utilization for my IPA's, but it's somewhat limited with partial volume boils.

Very nice, how do you find the time for that? I rarely watch television. Not interested in football. Many of my friends who can't understand how I find time to brew and do a podcast and other things when I have a twenty hour weekly round trip commute to my full time job, spend many nights and weeke...

I never used PET bottles .... first batch was with glass bottles, and stuck with it for years. Now, it's mostly corny's. But, I've always thought it might be neat to try PET bottles. Just never did. It's all good. So, I'm blabbing without giving advice ... heh heh.

I capitalize it, unless I've had fifteen home brews, then I lose interest in being "correct".
