Re: pc backup software?

Rickbeer - another question if I may... Since 2013 it seems like a lot of ppl are reporting Acronis to be really buggy. (amazon reviews) Is there a particular version that is better than the rest? or is the 2014 version in your opinion stable? I usually don't put too much stock in amazon reviews bec...

uber heavy beer and yeast?

lets say I have a very high alcohol by volume beer like a barley wine. would there be active yeast to carb if it sat in a secondary for a month before bottling? or would you just bottle it from the primary and bottle condition it for an extra long time to mellow out the alcohol rocket fuel quality?

Re: No Airlock Activity, then..

2 reasons I hate buckets... cant watch the yeast... and the seals often suck so theres no airlock activity often. 2 reasons I like buckets... 5 gallon volume... easy cleanup... and my autosiphon works better due to the height of the bucket... THREE three reasons I like buckets.... I wasn't expecting...

Re: Biere De Saison question

I did a 1 gallon northern brewer saison kit. I used belle saison yeast... no additions beyond the 2 oz honey they packaged. I fermented at 76-78F the entire 2.5 weeks then let it sit at 68f for a couple days before bottling... aged 3 weeks. to keep the temp up I put the fermenter in a cooler full of...

computer purchase- opinions needed

Ive been mulling things over (yes I am as slow as a tree ent when it comes to making a decision). I'm going to just buy a new pc system and bite the bullet. i'd use it for surfing, some work, offline games like diablo 2 and elder scrolls oblivion. i'd like a fast computer that wont be totally obsole...

I consume 1/2 - 1 liter of beer and/or several cups of mead , hobo wine or hard cider daily. drinking makes my problems go away for awhile and is thus good for my mental health. my weight seldom fluctuates more than 5 lbs up or down and I stay be...
