I found a rusted line and leaked the refrigerant. I kept it iced and drank it all but just bought beer afte...

Update on where I'm at and where am going.

I've had a busy summer and not brewed anything since June. I bought a FermZilla tri-conical last year on a Black Friday sale. I opened it up and looked it over and was nice but found out about the only way to do a transfer to keg is under pressure, could have used my auto syphon though and needed at...

I just poured a glass of the pliny clone that I kegged back in 6/29. I kinda forgot that I still had that on tap and haven't had one in a while. say what want about IPA's losing their zing after getting a little old, Wow before even having a sip while tilting the glass got a big hop hit. It is a lo...

Re: The No Post Post

Yeah, I came here directly from the Mr. Beer forum. I never joined the "Mr. Beer Fans" one. I joined the MB fan's forum but only made a post or two and introduced myself and was it, then came here. I feel bad this place is not active anymore, everyday you could see so many new post and so...

Re: The No Post Post

Took a ride out to Ohio today, thought about some of the Borg members out that way. My wife needed a replacement copy of her birth certificate and didn't want to wait to get it mailed. She was born in Ohio, it was a nice ride and we stopped and had lunch with her only remaining aunt out there.

Re: What-up?

I'm still here, I haven't brewed almost anything this summer and usually don't make much beer in the summer. I am big on outdoor stuff when weather is good and I do a lot of BBQ, Garden and working on my antique tractors and building on to my barns. I think a lot of us in this borg are about the sam...

Re: 3-2-1 method video

I have been doing a lot of BBQ this summer, about 3 or 4 nights a week, you can do that being retired and not have to wait for the weekend. The 3-2-1 is a good starting point but will over cook baby backs at 225, it's closer with spareribs. I have been doing 3, then 1 1/2 hour foiled and about 1/2 h...

Re: What are you drinking?

I don't know how to post pics. on here anymore but thought I would give a updade on the Pliny clone I brewed not long ago. That is a excellent IPA and as good or better then the Southern tier 2x IPA that I drink sometimes. Other then it being a 8% beer and can't handle too many in one sitting.
