If you're a chemist "organic" means carbon compounds, and the original definition of "organic" that I learned in about 5th grade was "made from living things". I understand that language is dynamic, but I think "organic" is a good example of a word that's misu...

My wife knows I like to try beers that are new to me, so she bought me a 6-pack of Redd's Apple Ale. I have forgiven her because I love her, but it was pretty bad. Several of the beers that have been mentioned I've had and found quite drinkable, so I have to wonder whether they were isolated bad bot...

Sorry to hear that. I hope your relative is able to stop drinking and do it without disrupting the rest of the family. I also hope you are able to get back to pursuing your hobby. The responsibility lies with the alcoholic, but many of them try to impose guilt on everybody around them. You can't fix...

Greetings!

Hello- Some people may recognize my username from the Mr. Beer Forum. I've gained a lot of knowledge there, and helped a few people even less experienced than I (a frightening thought). I've made a few great beers with Mr. Beer (and other) products and I'm getting bolder with trying stuff on my own....
