http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/mastodon-launches-black-tongue-beer/ One of my favorite bands is making a beer. Well having someone else make them a beer. I know many on here may not like Mastodon's style of music. But i'm sure you can appreciate that they like craft beer! I wonder if you can get t...

Never reported back on this one. But, this was one of the best beers I've made. Super easy drinking, nice and hoppy. I didn't even want to share this one because I wanted it all! Haha. I will definitely make this again. the only thing I might change is to up the dry hops a bit . Cheers!

Re: Worst Bottling Day Ever?

That's a bummer. For me, I only do brew related things in the evening. That way the days work is done, the only thing I need to worry about is making it to bed. But hey, you got one thing right. You found a wife that makes you breakfast! :D

Re: What has two thumbs and is no longer bottling?

Its funny how there is so many ways to do it and no ” right way”. That's why I love this hobby. Thanks for the replies. I have research to do.

What has two thumbs and is no longer bottling?

Now I need to brew something I don't have anything fermenting! a question for those of you who keg. Do you condition t...

Re: Smashing Pumpkin Question

I brewed a pumpkin ale a few Weeks ago and used canned pumpkin. Roasted it and added to the mash. I do biab so I didn't have to worry about a stuck sparge. Would rice hulls help? I think i've read boiling the pumpkin leaves you with a bunch of gunk in your fermenter. I would try to mash with it if p...

Re: Here's how I BIAB

Nice! I've been doing biab for about a year now and I always like to see how others do it. I live that there isn't a ” right way” you just do what works for you. I might have to try your sparging method. I do a cold water dunk sparge but winner if I'd get better eff with that method
