Re: Bulk Yeast

Uhh Ohh, i haven't made a batch of beer in a year. I tried the BiB 1 gallon kit and made bottle bombs, my wife is a bit weary now. That being said, is my yeast more than likely done for - stored in a drawer in the basement, roughtly 68 deg f all year round.

Re: Black IPA

Its kind of amusing how just a month ago we had this blog about black IPA's. I have been a huge fan of Brewdogs TV series. I found a few bottles of the Libertine Black Ale on saturday night. It is an amazing Stout/IPA hybrid....i had two at the bar, and took the other two they had home for safe keep...

Re: Come question Brewdemon fermentation

Especially the Oktoberfest (which i used often for i love amber beer) - they alw...

Food Parings

I have slacked on the Borg and making beer. I'm hoping that life has simmered down long enough to do a batch or two soon...

Have we ever done a beer/food pairing thread?

Re: Slow Ride

I have spent all day reading How To Brew by John Palmer. With ...

Apply flavor in most of my Octoberfest MrB kits

Gentleman,

i am getting a lingering apple flavor when i do anything mixed with the octoberfest.....after some research, do you think that if i used a different yeast other than what's provided it would make a difference?

As always much respect for your knowledge and help
