Re: Bewitched Amber - Low Carbonation
I've brewed that one before and used 1 1/4 tsp. It doesn't have any head. You could have used some dextrose that give it a bigger head.

Re: Please vote today!
Does your vote really count? The two parties have a stranglehold on the system and offer us the choice between voting for evil and the lesser of the two evils. What kind of choice is that? If you vote for the lesser of the two evils guess what? You're still voting for evil. Trust me, in our politica...

Re: Cell Phone (science?) help please...
I had this problem a lot when I had Verizon. Also had old voice mails that had been erased months earlier pop up as new ones. It's definitely a problem with the carrier's software. Since it's a carrier issue the only thing you can do is switch carriers or buy a burner phone that works on a different...

Re: Coopers assimilates Mr. Beer
I really like the Speidel Plastic Fermenter - 30L. It's a lot cheaper than the Cooper's or Mr. Beer 24L kit and seems to be a lot sturdier.

Re: American Amber Idea
Wouldn't Bewitched Amber Ale be a better base to work off of since it's already an amber ale?

Re: Your Most Memorable Brewday Mishaps
After brewing my first batch I was excited to start my second one. Cleaned the fermenter with the Oxy wash I purchased from my local store, but in my excitement forgot to rinse three times as recommended. Filled it with sanitizer, let it sit for ten minutes and then reloaded the second batch to ferm...

Re: Mr B Czech pilsner flavor
Just bottled the Mr. Beer Pilsner and mine came out light in color, just like a Czech Pilsner. I'll know in four weeks if it tastes like one.

Re: Coopers assimilates Mr. Beer
With the 6 gallon fermenter I think they'll just relabel the bigger Cooper's cans with Mr. Beer labels. Already a lot of the names are the same.

Re: Hello From Little Bohemia
Thank you. Yes, 15 so far. I haven't tried them all, but the ones I have tried have all been excellent. We've become such a beer city that two of the majors are building plants here. It's a good place to live if you like beer.Gymrat wrote:Welcome aboard M42. 15 microbreweries? Nice!
