Re: What are you brewing/bottling/kegging?
Doing a double batch of blonde tomorrow. One will have strawberry extract, basically as a throwback to the old Pete’s Wicked that got me into good beer some 20 years ago. It’s a recipe I revisit every so many summers. Smoked some pork and ribs today too, so that’s ready for tomorrow’s relaxing brew ...

Re: Rethinking Dry Hops: Quicker, Colder … and Better?
I almost always do 3 days warm, 2 days cold crash. If I’m reading this right, the suggestion would say the 2 day cold crash/dry hop is sufficient. Next time I brew my ipa that works as a pale ale, I’ll try it out!(So if it doesn’t work well, it’ll still be a good beer.) Sent from my iPhone using Tap...

Re: BrewDemon 2 Gal Fermenter Ideas
I use my LBKs for cider, and for splitting and oak chip soaking larger brews. Pretty handy to have around for experiments.

@MadBrewer I’m a fan! I’ve done one batch, a few years back. I really should brew it up again. Enjoy!

Re: Hops Rootball
Holy crap! I’ll plant it and see what happens! At my last house, the starters were about 5”, but were producing in the second year. No idea about the soil here, but one former owner thought out the flowers, and we get color through most of the year. I’m planning to do a rope system about 8 feet high...

Re: Rhizomes
Hey guys! I moved, so need to start over. I’d love some rhizomes if you have any. I had Chinook, Centennial, and Cascade at the old house. Let me know if you can help, that’d be amazing!

Thanks you all! You too!
Got a Summer Wheat in this morning, 2nd batch at the new house. Still working out the kinks, but today went a lot better than last time. Cheers!

Yes, I think you can convert pretty easily. But also, aren’t you in Indy? I can swap you some beer next time I’m up!

Re: What are you brewing/bottling/kegging?
Yep, just did that myself. After the sixth time of clearing the clog...beer rain! Today, I’m making 7.5 G of a classic blonde. Been so hot lately. The extra 2.5 G I’m pulling and infusing with a lime tincture, which should be good for taco Tuesday around here. I’m guessing this heat will stick aroun...
