Re: WVU vs Oklahoma

+1

That was tough to watch. They pulled within 7 in the 3rd Q then it got out of hand again. This is a brutal stretch of 4 games. They may be lucky to win next week at home vs OK St. I do not see them beating Baylor or TCU on the road.

Best case for them is 4 - 3 after the first 7 games.

Re: Back to the bucket

I failed (again) at proper keg planning. 3 taps and 6 kegs in my house. Four 2.5 gallon kegs are bone dry. One of my 5 gal has an Amber Ale that tastes bad and should be dumped. The other 5 gal just got kegged last night. I have 2.5 gal of cider ready to keg this weekend. The only saving grace is th...

Re: WVU vs Maryland

Great game for WVU. Unfortunately for me, I am a Maryland Alum!! Luckily I have beer. :fedora: Sorry doc. I must say, they are stuck in a tough place with DC and Baltimore pro sports. Similar to Pitt. They can't get any traction competing with the Skins and Ravens. That said, I lived in Greenbelt M...

That was a nice win. I had a bunch of home brews during the game. The real fun starts next Saturday!

Bewnewb's Photo Inventory 9/19

While waiting on my grandson, I decided to do a photo inventory of brews. I still need to do a head count on my bottled beer and wine but I feel pretty good about the pipeline entering week 2 of football season. Re: What are you brewing/bottling?

I had to run to Wally World this morning so I grabbed three 96oz bottles of apple juice. I dumped that into the LBK and pitched a packet of 05 on it for some SEC (Stupid Easy Cider). Total Brew Time ~ 15 minutes After I took the pic, I realized today is the 19th not the 18th HAHA. http://go2snowshoe...

I'll try and dig up some pics and post a new thread. It's a mancave we built a few years ago in my basement.

Re: CO2 Tanks - Swap or Refill?

I have 2 tanks. 2.5 + 5#. I just swapped my 2.5 today at Airgas for $11.29. HEADS UP The owner told me that they are no longer going to swap 2.5's in the not too distant future. If one does not have easy access to a refill - that may be a game changer on some of those cheaper kegerators and conversi...

I was browsing this thread and it dawned on me that I have 12 bottles of cider sitting in the basement.
