There's only 1 theme available right now. Still working on some things in the background but a light theme is on the to do list.

Re: WE'RE BACK

Is the TapaTalk still active? I usually use that on my phone. Somehow, the BeerBorg link got deleted and now it doesn't show up in any of my searches? Tapatalk shut down the feed when the forum was down for more than a week. Once I'm sure everything is working here I'll get Tapatalk re-connected. T...

WE'RE BACK

Welcome Back and Holy Crap!!!! Talk about a messed up couple of weeks. Unfortunately an upgrade of the database by the hosting company ended up causing the entire site to go dark. After several days working with the hosting company we were able to get the main webpage back up and working however the...

Re: What are you brewing/bottling/kegging?

That's quite the chiller you got there Leigh! Homemade? Yeah I made that years ago. I made the mistake of buying straight line 1/2” copper then realize that it was too difficult to bend so I got out the torch and a bunch of 90° elbows and there you have my hip to be square wort chiller. Re: What are you brewing/bottling/kegging?

Two weekends in a row now I've brewed. Last one was a SMaSH with El Dorado hops and Maris otter grain. And today I brewed my Citra-nilla vanilla IPA with citra hops of course and the vanilla bean will go in in the secondary. It felt good to get the brew pot going again. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn....

Re: Check it out, I was on the Michigan Brews Podcast

This was actually my second appearance on the show. The first was episode 10. It's really a fun group to hang out with.

Check it out, I was on the Michigan Brews Podcast

I was a guest on the Michigan Brews podcast last night where we talked about the Michgan Homebrew Fest, brewing gang beer and sharing the craft of homebrewing.

BrewVide anyone?

So I did a thing today. I put a deposit on this BrewVide system . I really thought about getting a Mash and Boil or a Robobrew/Brewzilla system but there was always something that just held me back from pulling the trigger. I have a lot brewing equipment including brew pots that I really like and th...

Re: 1 down. 1 to go. Then 2 weeks.

Working for a Healthcare system and being considered an "essential worker" even though I do IT we were encouraged to get vaccinated early on. My first dose of Pfizer was in January and the second on Feb. 6. I didn't have a lot of symptoms from the shots just some fatigue and arm pain/ache ...

Re: How about a small gift to the Borg forum?

I guess I get $5 a month worth of entertainment from the forum, so I used that as a baseline. To add to Herb's question, PayPal tracks on a surcharge. Many banks and credit unions have banded together to create zelle, which is not only free, but usually immediate. Thank you for your generous contri...

Thanks for asking for considering donating. I also have Venmo & Google Pay. I can post the links here if those would be an option for you or others to use.

Is there another payment method you'd prefer to use?

Re: Open Invite to Michigan Homebrew Festival 2019

Thank you for the information. I will keep my eyes and ears open as the year progresses. Not yet with a HomeBrew club as I am just getting into home brewing but am certainly open to suggestions. Located in the country north of, and between, Kalamazoo and Battle Creek. Kazoo and Battle Creek have so...

Re: Open Invite to Michigan Homebrew Festival 2019

Hey, I am in Eaton County and looking for some homebrewers in the area. Do you all know where I can find some like minded brewers around here? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I don't know how close Red Ledge Brewers are but this is a really great club. http://www.redledgebrewers.com/ You might w...

Re: Pellets

Congrats on the new pellet smoker. I got one back in May and absolutely love it. I've made some amazing meals on it including a prime rib roast for Christmas. If you don't have one already I would suggest getting a WiFi or bluetooth thermometer. It really makes it much easier to monitor for temps an...
