I haven't needed to so far, but I don't brew in the summer too often. I've thought about a pond pump in a cooler full of ice water for the final stage, but haven't set that up yet. If/when I move to 10 gallon batches, I'll probably make a 50 footer. What do you do for a pre-chiller? I wish I would ...

I buy my 2 row in 50 lb sacks and don't keep much Maris Otter around but do like MO.
My favorite is Munich though I only use it in small amounts. I like the semi malty flavor it adds to my IPA's and helps to balance out the large amount of hops that I have been using.

I didn't start watching this show until mid June. I've now watch EVERY show and am ready for this Sunday. Gonna be a short season.

Me, I can't limit it to one but I do love all the C hops and especially love Simcoe, Amarillo and Citra. Of course I'm a hop head.

Awesome job on the mash tun. I thought of going that route but went to a bigger pot and stuck with BIAB brewing as I've got my system pretty much where I won't it.

I think the guys on Mr. Beer are some of the nicest homebrewers around. They'll always be some who think they know it all but a great majority of those folks are wonderful people.
