Grain Father

Well poop, I just tried to order another Grain Father and the discount code is not valid for it. Full price is $699, still worth it but, was only interested if their 20% off code applied to it. Oh well, guess I'll blow it on my motobike accessories... LOL

Re: New brewer

Just make sure the peppers are clean. I grow my own ensuring no pesticides/fertilizer splashed on them.

Re: Kefir and kombucha

I've never made (or eaten) picked eggs. I think I'd probably want to try them before making them. Although i suppose i could start by making one and then try it to see if i want to make more. Kimchee is kind of an acquired taste. I've mafe it before and I've bought it as well. I don't think i made ...

Only thing I've done much of late is pickled eggs. We've been traveling alot lately, not leaving much time to do alot I us...

I'm surprised they are still in business. Either way I'll never recommend them to anyone.

Re: Help with basic recipe

If I remember right, I looked up ounces per cup. The 2.8lbs is what grainfather gave me. So... I won't guarantee accuracy, the older I get, the worse my math gets. In grainfather app, I worked it up as a 5 gallon batch then told it to resize to 1.5 gallons.
