Keg Do's and Dont's?
I am thinking of kegging my beer Is there a "BEST" system to get? Ball lock, Pin, or Sanke? I hit the jackpot a couple years ago and had a really nice True Kegerator given to me if I hauled it out of the bar, so I helped them out. (Resistance was Futile) :wow: It was complete with a regula...

BPGreen- If you are not an electrician- Instead of installing a GFCI outlet, you can buy a GFCI that plugs into your existing grounded outlet at Lowes or Home Depot https://www.homedepot.com/p/Tower-Manufacturing-Corporation-3-Wire-GFCI-Outlet-Adapter-30439005/202510242?cm_mmc=Shopping%7cVF%7cG%7c0%...

Nice looking Mill.
It is heat treated and Cryo'd so it should last a long time!

Re: Raspberry Wheat
I got the fermenter temp down to about 65. I'm using a Fluke infrared thermometer and measured the Fermenter on all sides, and at several levels. I'd like to get an immersion thermometer, but that is the best I have right now! The movement has subsided substantially, it is still active. But not like...

As expected, there was lots of solids in the wort. This morning when I checked it to make sure it was working, I was suprised to see the solids l...

Re: Welcome New Members
Update- The Pale Ale was a soso beer, but considering it was 5 years old, it was OK  My 6 gallons of Irish Stout is a mashing success  , as is the Baltic Porter that I brewed. We are really enjoying these, not sure which is better :fencing: :clink: . I have a 6 Gallon of American Por...

Re: Welcome New Members
Here is my story and I'm sticking to it. 1 week in I added a dissolved cup of Corn syrup. I let it ferment for 9 more days and then cold crashed it for 48 hours. It smells like beer and tastes like beer, so it must be beer! My hydrometer I got from Mr. Beer reads 1.012 at 42 degrees. I calculate it...
