Re: Corbonation bottle help

I'm another one that used 12 oz brown beer bottles. I either kept bottles from commercial beers that I could get the labels off easily, or I just bought brand new bottles at the supply store. Eventually, I went to kegs.

Re: What are you brewing/bottling/kegging?

Kegged the Gerst Amber Ale last night. The sample was nice. It's a mild amber, crushable for the summer for sure. Have to bring the keg of Gerst and my Czech Pils to my nieces graduation party over Memorial Day Weekend.

Kegged the Czech Pils last night. This weekend I'll be brewing the Gerst Amber recipe that I somehow was able to get my hands on a few years back.

Re: What are you brewing/bottling/kegging?

This past Saturday, I brewed a Czech Pils. The first time I've brewed in almost 10 months. Everything came out great too, I was fully expecting for something to be off since it's been so long, but it all worked out.

Re: RO Water

Ward Labs does a really good homebrewing water test. It's a little expensive for what it is, I think around $45, but it's worth it in my opinion. I used to do it every few years until I realized my water is terrible for brewing, so now I just start with 100% distilled water. This allows me to build ...

Is the TapaTalk still active? I usually use that on my phone. Somehow, the BeerBorg link got deleted and now it doesn't show up in any of my searches?

Question on cold-crashing

FedoraDave wrote:but I've also had both ales and lagers that I submitted that were given high praise for their clarity, and they were bottled.
So if your normal process has worked in the past so well, what’s the concern now? Just seems like your overthinking this a bit.

So if overfilling doesn’t cause the relief valve to blow, what the hell is the relief valve for???
