When I sparge, I normally run the brew through the grains a few times just to capture the goobies from the preboil. Once I've done that, I will do a final rinse of the grains with about 1 gallon of cold water to "wash" that last bit of sugar out of the grains. My thinking on that was, if y...

I've my tried and true Nong Cider. 3 gallons apple juice (no additives), 2 lbs table sugar,2 lbs Golden Brown sugar, 1/2 lbs lactose, (apple pie or pumpkin pie spice is optional), and wine yeast. Works every time I try it.

I've settled on the Standard Nong Brew (similar to Red Hook IPA). I did however, make a Nong Red last week. I'm waiting for my Buddha Hand Plant to provide a Buddha Hand fruit to make my Nong IPA Special.

Well... I had to buy a new Brew Log Book. And I've gone back to Kegging. Built a Jocky Box. So the answer is: a bunch.
