Yep, whether you bottle prime or batch prime, you'd have to recalculate your OG. My previous post was misleading.

If you really want to know, I'd say just don't cap the last bottle. Cover it with a piece of aluminum foil and let it sit at room temp for a few days. The priming sugar should ferment out very quick and most of the CO2 will simply dissipate.

Eh, no real need as long as you took a reading prior to bottling. Minimal change at best. Enjoy the beer and think about your next brew session instead

Wyeast 1968 is one also. Feremented cool, it is a good choice for American styles being fairly clean. Warmer brings out its English strain characteristics. It can be finicky at cool temps though.

Amazing even what the same strain will do at different temps.

It seems as though higher abv beers have lower retention. I have nothing to back that up. Just an observation. Just as higher hop conetent increases both head and retention.
