Hitting the Old Fozziwig and Blackberry Pomegranate Seltzer taps while watching the Preds on the patio. If your hops are speaking to you, you may have drank too many hoppy beverages... :night:

Re: Hops Rootball

We have happy hops emerging from the ground at the new (and very scenic, as pic #2 shows) hop farm. Re: What are you brewing/bottling/kegging?

Did you post the helles recipe somewhere? I'm considering what spring/summer beer to brew next. Bouncing in my head between helles, something light/smoked/wheat, or a light lager or cream ale...

Re: Hops Rootball

That's crazy... If some of that is coming our way we will definitely put it to good use on my friend's beginnings of a hop farm...

Re: #120: Old Fozziwig

Transferred from the Catalyst for the first time while enjoying a Yazoo Goo Goo Ale. Went pretty smoothly and is super easy with this setup. Learned one or two things I'd likely do different next time, but also bought the racking accessory for this fermenter to make things even easier next time, but...

Re: Rhizomes

No one has asked for any. How many plants you want, 10, 15? You can have them all if no one else speaks up. I actually have a friend who bought a farm last year and wants to start a hop crop this year. So whatever you care to pass would get good use between the two of us. Sent from my LM-G850 using...

Re: Rhizomes

I'd take some if you are still offering... I'll stress that I already have one healthy plant, so I agree on passing them to first timers first, but if you don't get takers...

#120: Old Fozziwig

I have a few long time holiday favorites, but a few of them are getting harder and harder to come by. Since Sam Adams stopped distributing Old Fezziwig, one of said annual favorites, I sought out a homebrew recipe for the beer and planned to get the ingredients for a Thanksgiving break brewday. And....

Re: Brewing Bloopers

I have two relatively recently (in the last 2 years)... One was the grain tube similar to Mash, so I won't repeat it. 2nd was having a clogged keg from a ripped dryhop bag and not purging the CO2 the third time I had to unclog it. Sigh. Lesson learned... Was quite the IPA fountain... Sent from my LM...
