It's a done deal......you should see the email showing the donation soon.

Re: Finding a place to nest
Just went back to the other forum and it logs you out after only 5 minutes of inactivity. How can any forum be so bad? It's truly a piece of shyte!
I guess with the economy being what it is, it's a money thing and you get what you pay for but Louie has an awesome thing going on here.

Louie, can we help with a donation?
Louie, I'm not sure exactly how this forum works nor what it costs. But, it seems, its all been on you. So, I'd like to offer to help if needed, with a small donation. I do belong to a few non beer forums and give a yearly donation via PayPal. If this is something you'd like help with, I and hopeful...

Re: Finding a place to nest
Sadly, last night, you missed the infinite rounds of free, cold and flowing, draft beer! But, if you bring in 1000 members, you'll have another shot and endless beer. Welcome here. Though I hope they fix the other forum, I'm extremely doubtful it will ever be what it should be. Louie has done such a...

Re: All grain IPA tease
I'll be making Pliny in the next 3 weeks or so and just did a DIPA clone (Maharaja) that has an awesome aroma.
I just can't get enough IPA's and am not stopping until I do.

Re: All grain help needed.
You really don't want too much flower and you'll have to strain some of it out when you go from the kettle to the fermenter. Some say too much flour causes tannins but I can't prove that. Also, if you are not doing a BIAB, all the flour could cause a stuck mash. Do you have a LHBS or homebrew club i...

Re: Ask away!
I'm not getting a toupe. My A/C is running most of the day costing me $$$$ And I have no shoes to match my purse. Kind words Jim but I am just a regular guy who just has been lucky with brewing the last few years. My early brew life late in college and early in marriage was lots of learning the hard...

Re: Ask away!
Will the bald spot on the top of my head ever go away? Why is summer so hot? Do these shoes make my ass look big? I feel better now. Seriously, I think this forum has reared it's head at the perfect time. I can already see it's just as friendly as Mr. Beer's forum. I hope we can still share o...

Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
There all over the net and 'Can You Brew It' has a lot of them. Some come from Stone but some, like Maharaja, are actually listed on the Avery Brewing's website.
I'll let you know in a few weeks if my SSSR came out even close. Sometimes, you just don't care how close it is, as long as it's good.

Re: Chinook IPA - NB Style
I brewed the AG version (didn't buy from NB but used the same recipe) and it was very blah. Doubt I did something wrong but maybe I did. It wasn't until I dry hopped 2 more oz in the keg after it was kegged 3 weeks that it finally was something I could drink. To me, it' snot an IPA but a slightly ho...

Re: What are you brewing/bottling?
Yesterday I brewed a Stone Sublimely Self Righteous and it looked like it'll come out great. I used 1.5 packs of 04 and aerated the crap out of it and it took off in 4 hours.
Next up, Stone Levitation. Seems I'm on a Stone kick right now.

My name is Paul and I'm a brewaholic!
One post in and this site is already easier than some fancy-smancy redone site. I'm on alot of forums and what Mr. Beer has done has got to be the absolute worst I've ever seen.
However, I will give them another week to make things work better before I blast them further.
Thanks for this site!
