Bwown Bear

Post by jpsherman »

That is not a misspelling, I really named it that.

This beer turned out to have a great mouthfeel and head retention. Less chocolate and malty than I expected. I was trying for a nut brown ale, and instead created an excellent coffee flavored ale.

Crystal 60L and Chocolate malts were steeped.

Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain.
Quaintest thoughts — queerest fancies,
Come to life and fade away:
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today.

That looks quite interesting! The chocolate malt is an interesting add in an amber ale. Seems like it made a good beer!
