Switching Over

Post by nikro000 »

Wow, now that was a surprise!
After some years I wanted to check back what became of the Mr Beer Fans Forum - and it was gone!
But I found out that many members had switched to this site... so here I am!

I started in 2012 with a Mr. Beer kit and never stopped. I switched to all-grain in 2013 and now I am happily brewing along as much as I can.
My speciality are dark European Lagers (I am originally Austrian) and I have a Bock bubbling in my fermenter right now.

Pleased to meet everybody! And a special Hello to everybody from the old Mr.Beer Fans site!

Hi Nick, great to meet you.
I also started with MrBeer, moved to grain (BIAB) and brew near everything I drink at home. I've brewed almost exclusively ales, I'm drinking an ESB and an Irish Red now. I just kegged a Czech Pils. Looking forward to hear you brewing adventures.

Never mind, there it is.

I love me some bock.

Pretty much if it's beer I like it.

I do a mix of lagers and American style ales in the winter, so right now I have dopplebock in my rotation, and a maibock in the fermenter. Also have a Bohemian Pilsner conditioning.

I switch to a mix of American and British/European ales in the spring/fall, and I make pretty much exclusively Belgians/French (Saison) beers in the summer.

Welcome to our happy place.
