BrewDemon & BeerBorg

Post by LouieMacGoo »

With all the new people here on the BeerBorg I have recieved a couple of questions regarding the relationship of BrewDemon and BeerBorg.com so I thought I would clarify and offer full disclosure to everyone.

Sam Dramis, the CEO of BrewDemon has been a big supporter of BeerBorg.com since both BrewDemon and BeerBorg started, however the BeerBorg site is not owned or operated by BrewDemon whatsoever. Sam has provided a link to BeerBorg on the BrewDemon site and flyers are put in the BrewDemon product directing customers here for help and discounts. This has proved to be mutually benefitial to both BrewDemon and BeerBorg by giving us greater exposure and giving BrewDemon customers the kind of support that we all benefited from when we started with that other extract brewing system.;)

Because of the support that Sam/BrewDemon has provided to the site I may tend to be partial to the product line but try not to shove it down anyone's throat and I do try to be as impartial as I can in any of my reviews of the products.

Also know that I have no intention of selling or "handing over the keys" of the BeerBorg to any company and I will be transparent and communicate with the community if anything like that should arise.

Thank you everyone for being a part of BeerBorg Community. I'm happy that I can provide this place to all of you but it is you that makes it the place that we all want to be a part of.

Please feel free to email or PM me if you have any questions.

:thanks:

Well said. Most of us fled the tyranny of corporate forums.
We have a right to an independent Borg!

Never mind, there it is.

Sam is a good guy. I don't care what brand it is I will help anyone I can get into brewing.

This is how most of us feel. We are all here to help anyone who needs it, regardless of how they do it. I hang out at a LHBS (maybe too much, but the owners tolerate me and I enjoy helping those who have questions).

I like to tell people that, "You can make this hobby as simple or complicated as you would like and have beer at the end. Would you rather tell people, "Let me show you my stamp collection or here drink this and tell me what you think"."
It's kind of an ice breaker to bring new people into this hobby I've grown to love. Brew Demon, MB, Kits, PM, or AG I will offer my knowledge to help anyone who will listen and most of that knowledge has come from my mistakes.
