Looks like Reb is gonna have enough IPA to keep a regiment happy. Sounds good, and I love the name! Creating names for my beers is half the fun!

Family and friends are demanding: 'more IPAs!'. My IPAs are the ones that get finished off rather quickly. My belgian ales just don't get finished off nearly as quick. I call it voting with the pint glass.

After enjoying the original Fresh Squeezed, I can't wait to hear how your clone comes out. I hope you're able to replicate it closely.

Well, it may be close.....but I thought I picked up Nugget for bittering as the recipe calls for but I went into auto-pilot and picked up Magnum which is what I normally use. The rest of the recipe is spot on so if it's even close I'll be happy. I'll make sure to send you a bottle when it's ready.

just finished brewing my Irish Red, although over time as I tweak the recipe it is becoming more of a Red IPA, I think. Since I like it that is ok by me. I never have been that much of a stickler for brewing to style

Just finished my Middletown Pale Ale . expected 66% efficiency, got a 73.3% so I'm a little out of style, in the malt department.

Interesting. I just brewed a fiver of 2 Daves Irish Red. Hop schedule is 1 oz. of Northern Brewer for 60 minutes and 1 oz. of Tettnang for 7 minutes.

I just post this by way of comparison. You know me well enough to know that I only care about whether you're making beer you like. Hang style guidelines, unless you're dead set on brewing a classic Irish Red or Cali Common or Irish Stout. Red IPA sounds pretty good, actually! I hope you like the result.

I made some brown ale and threw in the rest of the el-dorado I had sitting around as a finishing hop. The rest was a lot (3/4oz ish) but I'm tired of looking at it. It will be weird but I'm sure I will like it because I'm weird. Jolly Rancher Brown Ale FTW!

Brewed up my first batch of Bell's Best Brown Ale clone picked up the ingredients yesterday. In the fermentation freezer, used the paint can heater to get the temp up because 92 plus 1.6 gallons of refrigerated water is 58 degrees F... Now at 62, turned paint can off, let it rise slowly to 64.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...
