I bottled the spiced dubbel like beer that I used special B, 1/2 a chopped up licorice stick (the real natural black stuff, not swizzlers), sweet orange peel, and 1/4oz of Juniper berries in.

If you ever do this note that 1/2 chopped up licorice stick was plenty says my sample. Could have used more juniper though.

That looks like it'll be pretty similar to my Summer Quencher- SMaSH of Belgian 2 row and Belma, with a FWH bittering addition and a very late aroma addition. Simple, clean tasting, and nice melon aroma from the hops. I bet you'll enjoy it!

I did the "Punked Patriot" again but with Simcoe instead of Citra.

Down to 2 cans of 2-1 Patriot now.

Just bottled a batch of my Middletown Pale Ale. Planning on brewing a honey brown ale this weekend
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

The 1 oz @ 5 is how QBrew takes into account the IBU's for the hops in the MR Beer HME. :clink:
