This has been in the keg a few weeks and a few people seem to enjoy it so I'm just sharing this in case anyone wants to try it. I pretty much just grabbed hops that I had that were the oldest to get rid of them and have no idea what exactly the Farmhouse Blend has in it this time (I asked and they weren't very sure) but it never seems to let me down when brewing pales and IPA's. I also like to use Flaked Rye when I use Rye malt as I think it helps to bring out some tiny bit of zing that I don't seem to ever get when using only rye malt.

Re: Moral Panic Rye
That's quite the cornucopia of hops in there. I thought I was tasting something like Amarillo so the combos above aren't a shock - it's was fruity, but not overly so. And I'm not that good at distinguishing hops aside from a select few like Simcoe, Citra, Nelson and Mosiac.
My first impression was that it looked like a rye beer or an amber, so that's good.
Not much in terms of aroma, so I thought that if it was an IPA it had lost it's aromatic kick. I decided to taste it with it being a pale ale as the baseline and I wasn't disappointed at all. It was tasty, with just a hint of rye flavor - which is how I like my rye. I feel like there is a very small threshold for me there. Sort of like: 5% is perfect for a hint of flavor but 6% is way too strong. So actual percentages aside, this was in my sweet-spot.
I thought the balance of hops/malt was perfect for this beer, as did my friend who I split it with. And then wished I hadn't.
This was a damn solid beer, my man. I would have drank 2 or 3 of them while hanging out easily. I'd definitely rebrew this one if I were you.
Thanks!

Thanks, I actually want and like more rye.
