The cost of the unit and the ingredient kit are what will make or break it! I have a feeling this ain't gonna be cheap.

Bought an LG fridge last year----the word cheap was nowhere near it.
I don't want to pee on anyone beerade but if you want good beer and don't have more than 5 minutes to make it, just go buy it at the craft store.

I am all for having a few things that can make brewing a little easier, why I bought a all in one system but is still home brewing. Something like that is not really brewing beer. I guess for someone that has lots of extra money and no ambition, they could say here's a beer I brewed.

If I can't put my own ingredients into it, it's useless to me, I may as well just buy beer, or get one of those beer draft dispenser systems you can order little kegs of craft beer for, because that's all your getting here, except less choice.

I assume you would be able to be drinking a finished batch while brewing the next? If not it is pretty useless. What happens if you haven't finished drinking a batch when the next one is ready? Maybe the iPhone app tells you when to have a beer, "Please consume the remaining 1.5 gallons of beer by 9:35 tomorrow morning or it will be sent down the drain".

I skimmed an article about this, and I think it's an all in one system where you brew, carbonate, and serve from one container.

I think it's a cooler sounding way of saying "bag full of HME".

This isn't for anyone on this forum. It's for pod-people, that want to do no work and get beer in a few weeks.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

They have a "malt bag" already. And a yeast capsule. And a hops capsule. WTF is left??

Maybe "malt bag" is always a generic base malt, and "flavor capsule" is specialty malts that make up the recipe.

I dunno, just guessing.
