This is a somewhat lengthy video, but if you've got half an hour to watch it, it's very informative. The gentleman is Garret Oliver, brewmaster at Brooklyn Brewery. He evaluates different examples of the same style and breaks down all the elements of the beer, distinguishing the expensive beer from the cheap beer. He also explains why better ingredients make for a more expensive beer (and, indirectly, why it's worth it).
