It's the churn and burn theory. Sell people on the "make beer in 14 days" crap and then after they produce horrible beer and quit, sign up more nOOb's to replace them.

Their customer service used to rock but the forum debacle and all the condescending replies I got when complaining about my log in, profile, etc??? Fuggetabouttit. I am pissed and I'll I'll vote with my wallet.

It means more two dollar LBKs at the garage sales for me! I still like them for experimenting with split batches of for using the HMEs I pick up on deep discount days to keep around for days I dont have time to brew.

But, as one of my old roommates used to say, "You can't fix stupid."

Yes, the n00bs are their problem, but I still dont mind helping them out as I would have been upset if I didnt get any help when I started out knowing that I probably would have long ago abandoned this obsession. Plus, can always slip a beerborg reference in here and there without sounding like I am pushing the issue.

That is very nice of you.

You're a better person than I am, or at least more "community minded."

But it should be. Then we'd have to build a lot more prisons... Like in O_IO.

Man....I can't figure out the missing letter there.
I grew up in Ohio though, I should be able to get this....

Ah well, at least our college football team is better than Michigan's, probably because they leverage the learning in favor of more practice time.
But you know, MI has good beer at least, Bells is awesome.
