Uh-oh....it's now a close game. I'm not really  anymore!!!

There's a good chance Photon will catch me on this. He still has a few guys that play later tonight and tomorrow.

Week 1 is in the books! Half of us are undefeated, and the other half has revenge on their minds

Now's the time to see if there were any duds on your rosters, and sleepers in the available players that nobody picked. Waiver picks will be processed automatically every Wednesday morning, so make your moves between now and then. The lowest scorer of the week gets first priority, then 2nd lowest, etc. After the waiver picks are processed, you can make roster changes with the available players on a FCFS basis. Since we have some players who are new to FF, I wanted to make sure everyone knows that you don't have to be stuck with an under performing player for the entire season. Remember, if you pick up a new player, you have to drop a player at that same position.

Can you explain how the Waivers work? Is that different than cutting a player and picking them up of the list of available players?

Basically the same. It's just a timing thing. Right now you can't just drop and pick up. You claim an available player, and choose an existing player to cut. These claims can be made up to 4:00AM CT on Wednesdays. Then at 7:00AM CT on Wednesdays, the waiver claims will be processed. Depending on your place in the order, you may or may not get that player. Example:

Let's say that Mike Wallace is on the available players list. You and I both want to pick him up, so we both claim him and choose an existing player on our roster to cut. However, since you scored higher than I did this week, my claim would be processed first. I would get Mike Wallace and my other player would be cut. When the waiver process gets to your claims, it would see that Mike is already taken and it would skip that claim and take your next claim if you have one. Otherwise your roster would remain the same.

Once all the waiver claims have been processed, then you can add and drop players on the spot. Both actions happen in the same place on the site (the Players link at the top of the page). you can test it out by going in and claiming a player, then cancelling that claim if you want to.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I made the Krakens a special offer so he can enjoy this weeks Bears game: I will bench all my Bears if he starts his backup QB. This is a one time concession to Brewbirds RCE partner, pending Commish approval.

Dont bench any Bears. They play my Steelers sunday night so my plan is, get hammered while throwing bricks at my tv cause the Steelers blow, sleep or drink more for 2 hours(probably drink more), then go to the airport and fly to Cancun, Mexico at 330am, sleep on the plane and be poolside/beach by 10am. Repeat the drinking part for 9 days . Fly home, sleep the next day, and resume my life. :D

So, I just realized I am playing Leigh this week. I might need to bench everybody and lose, I don't want to get banned!
On a serious note, It looks like a good matchup. There are some good games on this weekend. Hopefully the Steelers can start turning things around. Not holding my breath, just hoping that maybe the offensive line just needed a couple games to start gelling.

Some good matchups out there this week indeed. Unfortunatley Jim, I think the only thing that will help our Steelers on offense is a new OC...

Oh, and a couple good RBs. Until opponents respect the run again, it will be a very long season of Todd Haley's dink and dunk offense.

What are you crazy? You don't love an OC who calls an end around to a 31 year old receiver who was never known for his speed? When our new draft pick with blazing speed is on the field? Oh, and not to mention we started working on a zone scheme to fit to our young o-line's strength, and call it twice in 2 games? *Sarcasm*
I don't know what is going on. I thought last year he wasn't that bad when we were 6-3. Seems like this year though, he can't call a game worth a darn.

Ha. Starting to realize why the Chiefs were so down on him. Wonder if we can borrow their "Fire Todd Haley" website...
