You might have heard that Founders has discontinued making it's Crumudgeon Old Ale and I have to say that this was one of my favorite beers that Founders made so I was just a bit disappointed to hear that it was not longer being produced. So when I saw they made the recipe publicly available I was quite excited.
The grain bill and hop additions are pretty straight forward and I believe it's the molasses & oak chips that gives throw beer it's uniqueness.
If you've never had Crumudgeon before it's worth the try.
