Bummer but lucky more didn't. I had this happen to me a very long time ago in the middle of the night under my bed. Scared the you know what out of me. But it smelled good!

In theory, the flip top bottles are supposed to self vent so they shouldn't explode.

But there's an old saying: In theory, there's no difference between theory and reality, but in reality, there is.

Couple bottles with unseen cracks, and/or too much priming sugar?
