After a day of brewing I stirred the beer and it seems to have stop brewing, should I throw it away

When you say after a day of brewing, I assume you mean after a day of fermenting.

Once you add the yeast and stir it up, you should leave it alone until fermentation is finished. It's too late for this batch, but keep that in mind for future batches.

For this batch, leave it alone now until fermentation finishes, then bottle it. You should be ok.
