Hello folks - glad to have found this forum. I purchased a kit from Brew Demon last week and have a batch in day 3 of fermentation - VERY much looking forward to seeing/tasting how it turns out. Back in 2014, I successfully brewed two 2-gallon batches using a Mr. Beer kit. Beginner's luck - they were both delicious and my friends were amazed. I wish I had stuck with it but other hobbies pushed Brewing out of the way...........but now I'm back at it and looking forward to learning some of the finer points from folks on this forum.

Thanks - do you have anything in the works at the moment? My Lager (boosted with 1/2 cup of Honey, 1/2 cup of Blueberries and 1 cup of Cane sugarl) ooks like churning floodwater, Day 7 - 
I've ordered a Hygrometer to test ABV - should end up at about 7.5% I think......we'll see.
