PB2 sediment
This will be a silly question for everyone. I started brewing a Peanut Butter Fingers stout today. I followed the directions to the Tee except for doubling the amount of PB2...from 6.5 oz to 13 oz.....After about an hour, I noticed sediment in the bottom of the fermenter that covers the spout. My question for you all..will that sediment dissipate as the fermentation process moves forward? I believe the sediment is the PB2, is this possible?
Re: PB2 sediment
Welcome aboard. If it's covering ths spout, that may be problematic when bottling. At least for these first bottle, but you're still a ways away from bottling, si things may change
Re: PB2 sediment
It may compact down as fermentation continues. You can stick a small wedge (shim) or thin piece of wood or what not under the front of the fermenter so the spigot is raised, that will help settle things more towards the rear of the fermenter. Just be careful and don't make it too crazy tilted.
