FedoraDave - Contributing Blogger
I am absolutely thrilled to announce that Dave has agreed to be a contributing blogger for the BeerBorg! Dave's first article "The Therapy of Home Brewing" has just been published on the main site. I am hopeful that Dave will continue to be a regular contributor to the site and share his unique wit, humor and insight of brewing!
Thanks Dave!
Thanks Dave!

Just read it! Fantastic blogging from the Hat
Beer brewing is definitely one of the most fun and rewarding hobbies, and we have a good time making it and sharing it!

Thanks, FD. That was like a brewer's prayer. I just got out my box of brewing gear so I can "go to church" tomorrow.
Drink a salute to William S. Gosset (aka "Student-t"), one of history's most important statisticians and a brewer at Guinness!

That is a great write up Dave. Looking forward to many more observations from our resident philosopher.

Re: FedoraDave - Contributing Blogger
Why would Dave want to be a contributing blobber? That's a derivative of the word "blubber", like in whale blubber? Or is he a contributing bobber? Like fish bait? I don't get it.
What? Oh, "blogger"? Oops!
Seriously, Dave's comments on the other forum were some of the most insightful comments I've read on any forum. Absent him droning on about his custom setup that allows him to not lift a finger when he bottles (yeah, we get it, you have a vastly superior setup to any of ours, and you are more organized that ten of us put together ), he really gives insightful thoughts on brewing, having patience, keeping notes, etc. Many a time I saw him come into a conversation and put the right spin on things. He was the most valuable contributor on that forum, and probably will be on this one.
Congrats Dave on being named Contributing B.S. Artist, er, Contributing Blogger. Great choice Louie!

I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

I'm grateful for both of you, Louie and Dave. This site is really developing nicely.

Awesome, that's the kind of thing that could really keep this site growing.
Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain.
Quaintest thoughts — queerest fancies,
Come to life and fade away:
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today.
