One thing is that if someone Bails on their Partner Dave is available.
I know we ask it not to happen but it always seems to everyone of these

Dave, sorry been MIA from the BORG for awhile and missed out on the collab. If you want we can partner up since you got left out. I'm itching to brew again as I've been on a break during the Vegas heat. Let me know, if not that's cool too no pressure.

Re: Recipe Collaboration Exchange pairings
Thanks for setting this up, Dave!
Trollby and I have been trading emails, both clearly looking forward to this since we're planning a double BIAB all-grain batch: both an Altbier and a Bock. Trollby plans to split a batch between two fermenters, using a single wort with different yeasts. I need to do my batches at different times, but as we tossed around ideas, I considered doing one of my batches as a parti-gyle (producing an additional low-calorie version from a 2nd running) and still haven't ruled that out. Now we're pinning down the recipe.

Re: Recipe Collaboration Exchange pairings
Sorry you missed it. And I would be glad to partner up with you. I'd be interested in making a small 2.5 gallon batch, since I'm kind of on the fence as far as HMEs go. I'm not interested in the Mr. Beer recipes, and at the moment, BrewDemon doesn't seem to offer much in the way of tried-and-true recipes.k9dude wrote:Dave, sorry been MIA from the BORG for awhile and missed out on the collab. PM me, and we can get something going, if that suits you.

I don't understand why nobody has offered any suggestions or even acknowledgement of this post.JonP wrote:I am not able to send my partner a pm. Try going to 'SETTINGS', the little gear icon next to the magnifying glass in upper right of page. Go to GLOBAL SETTINGS and see if you have the radio button checked that allows members to PM you. Other than that, I would contact a moderator and ask for help. It is possible they have not read this post in the past day or so.JonP wrote:I don't understand why nobody has offered any suggestions or even acknowledgement of this post.JonP wrote:I am not able to send my partner a pm. Jon, I have sent you an email and a PM. Please let me know if you get either of them by sending me an email at info@beerborg.comJonP wrote:I don't understand why nobody has offered any suggestions or even acknowledgement of this post.JonP wrote:I am not able to send my partner a pm. Re: Recipe Collaboration Exchange pairings
So do we publish our recipes and variations here or is it a surprise? I've never done an RCE before, but BeerRust and I have been having fun with making something up. I was just wondering what the progression is going forward.
Thanks

Re: Recipe Collaboration Exchange pairings
I'm glad you asked that because no one did on my first RCE and not knowing who, when, what, where, and how ( ) neither of us ended up posting about our project and I would have loved to praised Christ872 to the ceiling, he was a great and patient partner/mentor.monsteroyd wrote:So do we publish our recipes and variations here or is it a surprise? Re: Recipe Collaboration Exchange pairings
I don't think there are any hard rules about that. I've always posted the recipes as a new thread in the past. Easier for everyone to comment/ask questions when it's in its own thread. Less chance of it getting lost in one long thread...
Fermenting: Bucket 1 - Fresh Squeezed IPA; Bucket 2 - Empty
Kegged: Keg 1 - Irish Red; Keg 2 - Cream Ale; Keg 3 - Amber Ale; Keg 4 - APA; Keg 5 - Empty; Keg 6 - Empty; Keg 7 - Empty
The reason why the above list is so small Home Theater Build

Ok so when we're ready to tell we start a thread. Cool.
So far, this has been a blast.
