Woohoo, thanks JimH for the beer mail! Two bottles of his Silver City Sunset Amber, and one bottle of a partial mash version of the Blonde Ambition IV recipe that I normally brew all-grain. Very excited to try them both! Curious to see how my blonde compares in taste to his PM version. Really excited for the amber cuz of the Falconer's Flight hops.

Sweet! Glad they made it in tact. Hope you like the amber. Might need a little more conditioning, though. Maybe try one and hold on to one for another few weeks. The one I tried last night was a little bit young...

Yeah, I need to check when I actually bottled it. It might only be about 3 weeks in the bottle, it is all blending together. I was a little dissappointed last night when it was a little young. But it was great!

So I get home from work just an hour ago and a box is at my doorstep. I don't remember ordering anything online, so my curiosity is piqued. Beer mail! Awesome beer mail! (as if there is beer mail that isn't awesome...) But anyhow, it's from the great Naked Cat Brewery, and in the box I was informed via PM what kind of beer would be in it- a bottle of SweetWater's Happy Ending imperial stout, and 2 bottles of SN Ovila quadrupel clone. I've never tried an imperial stout, and I wanted to give stouts a chance because the only kind I've ever tried is Guinness, and I'm not much a fan of it unless it's paired w/ a shot of Jameson and Bailey's for an Irish car bomb. There was one other thing in the box that I totally did NOT expect....

Why do I think the combo of Bela and Rufus would result in half naked cats with patches of black fur, a top hat and perhaps a tattoo... :p
