The re-brew on this hit terminal gravity today at 1.012 so I tossed in 1/4oz of Nelson Sauvin for the dry hop. In about 5 days I'll toss in just a few more (1/8oz to 1/4oz) for a 2-day dry hop and then crash it and bottle it next weekend.
Once that is done, I'll be resending bottles out.

Ok boys, this was bottled and labled on Friday and is now carbing. Once ready, I will try one first and then send them out.

The new bottle just pops with aroma and flavor hops. I liked the first one, but this one is quite awesome...

Cool, that didn't take you long to crack it open.
There were two differences in this batch:
1) No Munich (that was mistakenly added to the last batch)
2) No gelatin

Great news Ron, my wife doesn't like it this time! She loves the smell, but it's "too hoppy". You nailed it on the re-brew.
Very nice, intoxicating, punch in the face, grape aroma on the nose. If my taste buds recall, same as last time just more intense white wine/grape flavor.
Excellent mouth feel and nice lacing on the glass. VERY well redone sir, Very well.
Wait.....damn.....no, on second thought it's kinda weak, not much aroma/flavor at all......... Note to self.....if you tell them it's good they won't send you another...arrrgh......Oh wait I've been typing out loud again, haven't I.

Your right Jeff....I am enjoying it. And it's easy to enjoy too. Very well done Ron. Like Jeff said, the nose is awesome. It's almost like a sweet desert wine. Then as I drink it I get a nice, clean and mild bitterness. It's just a very well balanced beer. Keep making this as is Ron, don't change a thing.

Wow, thanks for the comments guys. We all brew to what we like but it's nicer to get an "I like it, too" rather than a "wow, you LIKE that stuff? Good for you"
Happy to post the recipe if anybody wants it. It's a simple one, meant to just showcase the NS hops and be a nice summer brew.
This is my standard recipe (the last batch got screwed up) so I don't plan on making any changes EXCEPT for playing with my water profile. My water is bottled from the local supplier here and pretty neutral so I'm tweaking it for the first time on my RCE IPA. It will be hard to tell what it does on that batch since it's a new recipe but I'll likely try it in the next time I brew this up to see what it does, too.

Here's my take on this one the second time around......loved it and my wife stole half of it! This is her kind of beer.
This time there was some aroma and Chris' comment about desert wine does fit it weel. And much more complex taste compared to the first one. Still clean, crisp and very refreshing but I am even more sure that my one try with gelatin is over and done.
This could be a house pale ale and would get tons of compliments. If I had to be picky (can you say OCD?) maybe, just maybe for my taste, I'd cut back on the carb. Not overcarbed but I tend to like my beers mildly carbed.
