That's not really so much when you break it down. 24 bottle a week divided by 7 days is 3.5 bottles per day. If you're awake for 16 hours a day, that's a mere .2 bottles per hour, or approximately 2.5 ounces per hour. To tell you the truth, I don't think anyone could survive on such small rations. I know I have to supplement that beer with at least 8 ounces of whiskey each day just to remain sane. :jumpy: :jumpy:

Unibroue makes private label ales for Trader Joes and they are delicious. I've only ever seen two varieties, a "golden ale" and a yearly vintage ale. Look at the 750ml bottles corks and you'll see the Unibroue stamp. Around here they sell for $6.

Trader Joe's is a bit far for me, maybe 40 minutes away. :(

I'll have to check Trader Joe's out. They're building a new one about 10 minutes from me!

They just opened a Trader Joe's just yesterday here, but it's about 30 miles southwest of me, in an area I never have any other reason to go. But they plan on building another one about 10 miles from, so I can hardly wait.

I finally checked out World Market after hearing about it on the Borg a few months back. It was awesome. They have the best selection of beers I've seen so far. Not that I get out much, to be honest. But I signed up for the free membership and I hear they have a 30% off wine and beer sale about every 3 months for members. Most of their singles are $1.99, so I'll stock up like a hoarder when they're $1.39.

World Market is fantastic. They do the 30% off mixer sixers every so often w/ the membership (on beers priced at 1.99 usually). Great way to try new beers.

If you have any warehouse stores like Sam's Club or Costco they can have some really good deals.

A 24 pack of the Sam Adams seasonal sampler seems to be between $18 and $20 where as the 12 pack is $15 at the grocery store. They also have had the best prices on six packs I have seen on stuff like Bell's Hopslam at $8. Now there stock changes all the time but when they have something good it's usually pretty damn good.

Also I think most of the Sierra Nevada 12 packs end up being right around $14 and go on sale for $12 at the local grocery store store and a little more for the Beer Camp ones but the Beer Camp cases have been a fantastic every time I have had one.

I've got none such stores near me except for Sam's Club which I do check out about once a month for deals. There is a Total Wine about 40 mins. away on the way to a race track so I make a stop in there occasionally. Sometimes they have seasonal six packs for $3 at the end of the season so they are a nice grab if I can find them in stock.

One of our local beer stores had cases of Stone Ruination for $20. I bought two. It retailed for $72 so I got a steal of a deal.

I'm jealous. I would have bought them up at that price.
