This is what I brewed to tonight... it's a creative commons film, but much of it is music, old American jazz age blues (Annette Hanshaw), and Indian music combined. And it's a great film.

You can also download the whole film there in many formats.

Bottled my Belgian Stout while listening to this lovely lady sing and play her Chinese hammered dulcimer (see 3rd video). If you want to know what language she is singing when she isn't singing in English, then more often then not the answer is simply her own... its not any language. Voice as instrument. Youtube videos does her no justice, seeing her sing live is an amazing aural experience.

I saw Mr. Gnome live again recently and been listening to them ever sense... so I brewed my last patersbier of the season to this stuff.

WARNING: Vampires video contains foul language, blood, guts, guns, drugs, and god knows what else. But it's 3 different Mr. Gnome songs all tied together into a freaky video.

Being pissed off, I bottled my beer to this (this is a full concert video). I was in Chicago back then, and went to this show, just outside of Gary (yeah the hellhole). I still go back to it when I'm annoyed... I could very well be one of the colorized kids diving off the stage in Stigmata or one of the other tunes, I dunno. I came home bruised and bloody. Some kids left in an ambulance. My girlfriend at the time who didn't go to the show took one look at me when I got home and got freaking pissed, she insisted I got into a fight with the security guards or something. I tried to explain it was all just fun, but she didn't grok. It was awesome.

Folk metal with Hurdy Gurdy and other old instruments? They sing in Gaulish? Sweet. My kind of thing. Me look them up.

I thought I'd already posted to this thread, but it seems I didn't. Oh well.

I used to pick something from my CD collection, but since I tend to run up and down from the kitchen to the basement, that wasn't working out too well, and I'd usually have to change CDs a couple of times, so it got to be a nuisance. So now I've tuned the radio in the kitchen and the radio on top of the basement fridge to the same Oldies station, and I have both of them going on brewday. I get to sing along while I brew/bottle.
