What's better than brewing on a weekend?

Post by Beer-lord »

Having a 3 day weekend and brewing on a Monday. Tomorrow, it's my Men In Black IPA. My absolute favorite CDA of all time. This should be a house special but I only brew it twice a year.
So, I have some days that I don't want to lose (well, when you own the business, you have to make time for days off) and tomorrow is one of them. In 2 weeks I'm off for a week and will brew then as well.
Oh Happy Day!

I'm just getting back into my weekly brewing rotation, and I'm looking forward to Sundays again. My pipeline is getting a little thin, but I'm hoping I won't need to resort to commercial beers.

I actually bought beer today just to try some. I'm very pleased with the Atlanta brewery, Sweetwater. Their IPA is very, very good.
It's fall, (well, sorta here) and time to brew my ass off. Time to get the pipeline healthy and brew some beers. No matter what you brew, just brew!

Brewing during the week when wife is at work! Weekend is my wifes time (and football). She works, I don't.

Sweetwater's 420 is one of my favorite commercial brews right now. It's a bit hoppy, yes, and that's not my usual go-to. But the malt backbone is so very well pronounced that I taste it more than the hops, and that's what I love about it! Enjoy your 3-day weekend (and sex  )

Y'know, I should make a run to Cable Beverage anyway. It's really close by, and it has craft brews that are harder to get in other stores around here. Plus, I can put together a mixer-sixer, so I can try a variety of styles and micros, and if I don't like any of them, I don't have to drink five more bottles of it.

And it may give me ideas, who knows?
