Farmer's Almanac says this weekend will be the time to brew. Anyone else ever seen this "Best Days" calendar? http://www.farmersalmanac.com/calendar/best-days/ I used to check the fishing calendar often when I was fishing every weekend but only recently did I come across this Best Days one.

How come October 3rd is the best day to mow your grass to retard growth, then the 4th is the best day to mow to increase growth?

What's worse right now, I have 3 beers that I really want to brew right now. Just don't have the money to get the stuff. Not for all 3 anyhow. I guess that's a good thing though, cuz I don't want stuff to sit around for a while.

i attempted my first sour beer. at this point 42 hrs into fermentation nice kaserne, guess it's happening.

I managed to go to the LHBS after all, and got stuff for 2 beers! Brewing probably on Wednesday.

It's that time again. Well, today (Friday) and Saturday are labeled as best days for brewing anyway. I will hopefully get to do a brew tomorrow.

Late October, early November are the best weeks to brew at my place. Might be breezy but I'm under a covered and protected area.
I'll be brewing tomorrow and brewed 2 weeks ago and helped my brother brew last week so 3 weeks in a row is awesome. Plus, we're going to be lots of beer.
Tomorrow I'll be brewing an American Stout that I'm going to let sit an extra month and a few weeks (I think). The weather this weekend is absolutely freakin fabulous here!
I'll be brewing tomorrow and brewed 2 weeks ago and helped my brother brew last week so 3 weeks in a row is awesome. Plus, we're going to be lots of beer.

My RCE partner and I were thinking of doing an American Stout but decided on an APA for our recipe.
