LOML was thinking about losing around 250lb the other day. But she decided to forgive me - again - and let me stay.

Whew!

Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

I fluctuate a lot. Funny how it works. For the past 20 years I barely touched beer, now I prefer it, but can't produce it fast enough, so I have to supplement with whiskey. Usually drink gin and tonic on the road all day and then beer, if I have it, at home in the evening. When I have enough, I typically enjoy 2 or 3 pints in the evening, unless I'm feeling a little more festive. If I'm low on beer, I'll just have 2 or 3 highballs, usually doubles. I drink about the same amount during the day as during the evening, about 2 or 3 double highballs.

I know BeerSmith calculates the calories per 12 oz when you input a recipe and then add the measured OG and FG so it can calculate ABV and then in turn the calories. Then just use your calculation for calories per point.

Depends on the weekend.
I'm down to 1 per day on the weekdays, mostly a weight thing right now. I'm working out again and enjoy a beer post workout.
The weekends largely vary, but if there is a bottle share I will have probably 4 or 5 over the weekend if not more.
I used to drink way more but have been successful so far. Every time I want another beer past my 1 I just force myself to get water instead.
This simple replacement has helped me a lot.

calories are actually not used in calculating the Weight Watcher points the following variables are used

1. Fat
2. Carbohydrates
3. Fiber
4. Protein

I have been finding the closest brand name and making a guesstimate for points and/or putting in the weight value for the alcohol the fat variable. I am just looking for an easier way to do it. Since my doctor is insisting that I lose more weight yet. She wants my weight to stay under 200 now, so I rejoined WW after quitting for a year. I have unsuccessfully tried 3 times to get a home-brewing group established on WW, no interest. Yet people will save all of their weekly points just to get drunk one night a week.

I go by ABV. 4.5% or lower is "light", so 4 points. Higher than that is "regular", so 5 points. I don't go for really high ABV beers; the highest I brew is around 7%. Most are between 5 and 6%, which puts them in Sam Adams territory.

I may not be strictly following the Plan on this particular item, but I usually leave a point or two on the table at the end of the day, anyway. And I'm still losing!

That is basically what I have been doing. The Belgiums that I love are the problem!! I have started using the French Saison strain more. Even with fermenting at the cold end of it's range it ferments dry and clean.

I'm in the 4-5/week average, less than 1/day.

I like to have one with dinner most nights, but I actually don't like beer post-workout so that depends on when I workout. If it's in the evening, no beer.

Parties and BBQs are the exceptions, and when it's social I'll have 2-3 (assuming I'm not driving).

I guess I'm at about 40-50 12 oz per week now. Actually used to be at least twice that much. A wife and kid can make a man wise up pretty fast.

I'm gonna say I average between 35 and 40 a week
usually 4 most weeknights. And then weekends depends on what's happening. During football season [ncaa, no interest in BS nfl] could double that in weekends.
As far as weight goes I'm trying NOT to lose any
I was about 210 in my prime.
Down to around 200 last 10 or so years. But down to 185 last 6 or 8 months. And I eat everything.

Usually 1-2 per night during the week. Couple more on the weekends. Sometimes none, but not that often. So I guess I would be around 10-15 per week. Weight has never been an issue for me. I hover between 180-185# normally, but topped 190 for the first time last week (6'2"). Gotta get back to moving around more...

I generally stick to one per night, but not every night. When out with friends, that total will increase. Probably on average, 5-10 per week.

ive taken a proactive approach to my life's problems. I consume 1/2 - 1 liter of beer and/or several cups of mead , hobo wine or hard cider daily. drinking makes my problems go away for awhile and is thus good for my mental health. my weight seldom fluctuates more than 5 lbs up or down and I stay between 260-265 lbs. I did start substituting nutri-crap (system) dinners 5 days a week but it doesn't seem to be working much. I think I need to add more beer to my diet.
