Got the next 11 days off work, and a birthday next week and just got a nice surprise from the wife and my mother in-law. Plus I have a keg of pumpkin ale ready to tap, decisions decisions :jumpy:

That's a tough one. I would do the Enjoy By or the Pliny first!!!

If it's fresh I'd do the pliney first. Then compare everything to it. IMHO it's over rated. A fresh Heady Topper blows it doors off. Not even close. :barman:

Well, it depends. If you're drinking them all tonite......
I love each and every one of those beers. I'd kiss you on the lips if I could come share them with you. (did I say that out loud?)

Seriously, if you only have one, it would have to be the Enjoy By. I have 3 here and am holding one for Sunday football and the other 2 for what I don't know.

I'd start with Stone Enjoy by, just because I've never seen one, little lone had one.

The whole enjoy by series has been good. We had some left over at DeCicco's that was past the date so we had it at 1/2 price. It's a really nice IPA, but Pliney is much better IMHO. And Beer Lord, "Kiss on the lips?" Ouch. Let's trade more brews. Maybe I'll send you a Heady Topper.

You actually found Enjoy By still for sale after the date on the bottle??? WOW...that's unheard of here, some stores around here only get a case at a time, which is 12 bottles since they are bombers. And they are gone in a matter of an hour or two.

My brewing has suffered lately but I"m on a rebound and I'd love a Heady Topper. Never had one.
I enjoyed your beers too.

As for the kiss on the lips, well, I got YOUR attention, didn't I? And hopefully a Heady Topper out of it.

Have fun and behave at the beer show.

You guys are funny. Heady Toppers are like gold! Guys go up to the Brewery, buy as much as they can get & then come down here to the bars & sell them for cash. Bars even buy them. I would love to send you guys one because it truly is one of the best if not the best brew you'll ever have.
The enjoy by beer I was drinking was on tap at DeCicco's Brewster NY. They are the best food store/beer bar you ever see. They have 2 great stores with beer bars. 1 in Armonk NY (24 Taps) & 1 Brewster (14 Taps) I'm drinking AleSmith IPA now . Bought it tonight for 6.99 for a 24oz bomber. They have AleSmith X too for $5.99. Most of the store is beer.
So let's set up some trades. I have more Heady coming in soon, but I want 2 for 1, maybe 3 for 1 on this baby. Ha Ha you won't regret it. Cheers Beer Brothers! :urock:

I'm with Paul on this one. Enjoy by over Pliny every day of the week.
Haven't had HT, pretty sure it's a good beer, but not 2 for 1 good.
It could be like the Pliny where the hype puts blinders on people and only allows them to see what the masses want them to see.
Just my .02$

Nice presents Steve and happy early Birthday. I need to shoot down the street on day for a visit. We could swing by Jail House. :)

Thanks Jeff, I totally agree with you on the HT. Sometimes the hype out shines the beer, and 2 for 1 isn't worth it when there are so many great tasting graft beers out there now. Speaking of which, have you tried Jekyll Brewing Hop Dang Diggity? An excellent ipa and imho the best ipa from Georgia that I've tasted anyway.

Sounds great, haven't been to jail house in over a year and would like to see how/if it's changed. They just started to bottle 12oz which is great, but they seem to be falling behind in their core beers, there good but not great and there are newer brewery's opening up everyday here in ga that are doing it better, imho.
Cheers

Late the party, but "wow". That's a quite a collection to choose from :jumpy:

I too haven't had Heady Topper and have been curious to try it. Actually, I'd really like to try Enjoy By, Pliny and HT in a blind 3-way test to remove any bias. I know I like Enjoy By better than Pliny, but I'd like to try all three head-to-head someday to see how they compare.
