What a weekend.............

Post by haerbob3 »

Spent the last 4 days in the hospital again. The dumb docs still do not know what is going on with me. Went in with serve pain & shaking in the right arm. Put me a drip of a meds cocktail and end up sending me home. Tell me to resume the same meds I was taking when I went. Now here is the good part........... ONE MED IS CAUSING THE SHAKING!!! Never hear of such BS!!!! Have you??

Sorry to hear the problems are persisting Bob and that you've doctors mixing meds and then don't get that there's a problem. Seems like listening to the patient isn't part of practicing medicine anymore.

I hope they get it figured out soon it must be very frustrating.

It's scary how some people go to a hospital and come out worse.
I'm hoping you get fixed up good soon and back to your normal routine.

All sorts of medicines have weird side effects. Unfortunately sometimes it is needed to try different ones until you get the correct one for your body. However way too many doctors/hospitals are just too happy to give you an enormous pill cocktail to fight the symptoms with little to no regard as to what the cocktail is doing to you or what the cause of the symptoms are.

Hopefully you get better soon.

That's a bummer! I hope they can figure it out for you!

You know they call it "practicing" medicine because the still haven't figured it all out yet! ;)

Ah, yeah, happens all the time. I love when they give you pill A that causes effect 1, so they give you pill B to counter it, but causes effect 2. Then they give you pill C...

Bob, hope things improve for you soon!

Looks like the doc's have a set script they have to follow now do to insurance interference.
Sometimes that script isn't so good for the patient, no matter what they tell the doc!

They are working on it. It is hard to make appointments when you can not drive. I need to have an EMG done. I have feeling touch or pan on my left side.

Nope, the neurosurgeons I saw can't do anything. I was jokingly told that I would need to have a spine transplant. There is pretty much a problem with each vertebra. Yep growing old is not for sissies!! this sucks cause it is interfering with my brewing!!!
