Sorry to hear all of that Bob..... I understand the whole meds thing fixing one thing and making other things worse. My new group of meds has the pain cut down to an ache but has my brain all messed up... I hate having to choose my words before I say anything. I feel like I have a learning disability and I sometimes say things that make no sense and causes a lot of stares. Thank goodness for spell check or no one would be able to read and understand this.

I fully understand that I was on Neurontin now that is one nasty med. Felt other worldly all the time, would fly in rages for no reason. Most people do not understand how bad pain can be. I have been blacking out and have no memory of what I have done. I went into a rage in the hospital. The last thing I remember is the nurse calling me a junkie because of the tremors I was having. Was told that I was telling every one I saw to f____-off, walked out the hospital flipped off the rent-a-cop. SWMBO got me back in the hospital where they quickly sedated me. That is embarrassing, being in so much pain that you act like a cornered injured animal attacking the people trying to help you!!

That sux, sorry man! I've not got that bad, but I have lots of meds I refuse to take. When they issue them to me, first thing I do is call my daughter and ask her opinion/advice. Granted she's not a doctor, but she is an RN working on becoming a nurse practitioner so I listen to what she has to say about everything medical.
