But you gotta take into consideration the S&H too. For me the lowest S&H from Northern Brewer is almost $11.

The $14.92 also doesn't include yeast & priming sugar, so add in another $5 for dry yeast and priming sugar.

Once those 2 factors are added in the only kit really worth it IMHO is the Chinook IPA. I'd grab it but I've already got a full batting lineup for the next month - including a Hop Stoopid clone for the RCE and a Northern Brewer Pirates Plunder kit.

I pretty much agree with you and didn't take advantage of this sale either. I have lots of yeast both fresh and harvested and I keg so those aren't the issue. I buy in bulk so I have lots of grain and hops and shipping is only going to get worse unless they give it away (not!)

I only buy from them if I'm ordering $100+ worth of stuff. It's the only way the shipping reasonable. I will order from them a few times a year as I do like some of their special extracts. But in general MoreBeer's got free shipping (with $59 order) and I like their LME packaging better - like a really big version of the "BrewMax" style pouch... roll up like toothpaste tube to get it all out...
