Where I live, the Catholic schools serve beer at almost all the school events...fairs, fish fry's, etc. Of course, if it's a kid event, they don't but for adult functions, that's the only way to get people to come and part with their money.

Pretty much the same here. I was at a Trivia night last weekend and they were selling Bud Light. It would have been so much better if it were homebrew. I would be willing to donate 5 gallons and let them get the profit from sales!
