Beer Label Man At The GABF
There's so many sectors here. I hope this works as a place to follow what happens at this years GABF. It's Thursday 10/03 1 week before I go to Denver CO, the land of Milk (Beer) & Honey (?) - You fill in the blank for honey. It's legal here! I expect this year to be extremely cool. Captain Lawrence is coming full force. My Long Island buds form Great South Bay Brewery are ready to rock. Plus, the Chief from Peekskill Brewery will be killing us with his super hopped brews. Scott V from Captain Lawrence will really be on the loose as the wife will be home with the kids & he has to hang with the dudes from Manhattan Beer Dist. I'll do my best to keep up with those nuts. Either way, I expect "Beer Heaven" - Cheers, Uncle Steve the "Beer Label Man"

I'm confused -- did Las Vegas move to Denver?Beerlabelman wrote:Denver CO, the land of Milk (Beer) & Honey (?) - You fill in the blank for honey. It's legal here!
I'm not attending, but am also looking forward to your reports -- and remember what they say on the web: "pics, or it didn't happen."
Crazy Climber:
I'm not particularly crazy (IMO), and I don't rock-climb. It's just the name of a video game I used to like to play, back in the 80's.

It's a crazy show but in a good way. You can taste so many brews your head spins. I will post pics as soon as I'm able.
Re: Beer Label Man At The GABF
BLM, keep us updated on what's going on there, it sounds like a lot of fun and I'm sure 'ol uncle Steve will be having some fun.

Re: Beer Label Man At The GABF
Well boys I'm back & it was a great year! I poured at all 4 sessions & sampled a load of great brews. Wicked Weed Brewery was one of the new ones I'd keep an eye out for. The beer was great. They won a medal too. All of my friends/breweries that I know well won medals! Capt. Lawrence won another Gold for their sour "Hops & Roses"! They win every year. Peekskill Brewery got their first medal. a silver, for Amazeballs a delicious hoppy pale ale. While Great South Bay Brewery from Bayshore on Long Island got their first too a bronze for "Smashing Pumpkin". Check out the full list. Google GABF Winners.
